In 2015, I received my associate degree in nursing. My passion has always been mental health and I knew I wanted to use my nursing degree in the mental health field. I began working as a registered nurse on an inpatient mental health unit and continued to work on various inpatient units in Iowa and Missouri for the next 6 years. During my nursing career, I returned to school to further my education and career and work towards becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Since graduating in 2021, I have worked in an outpatient setting for over a year now and have thoroughly enjoyed providing medication management to adults and children."

I believe in providing safe, non-judgmental psychiatric medication management for ages 4 and up. I use responsible and evidence-based prescribing practices in establishing a trusting relationship with each patient. I also believe in a collaborative approach, not only with just the patient, but also with the therapists or other providers to provide a comprehensive and individually tailored treatment plan.
